What You'll Do
- Deliver prompt, dependable, and high-quality service to both internal and external customers
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and customization to factory specifications
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work
- Communicate effectively with Service Writers/Managers and customers to address service needs
- Keep the workspace and customers' vehicles clean and organized
- Maintain up-to-date technical certifications (PHD and more) through company-provided training
Your Qualifications
- Valid Motorcycle Endorsement.
- Will consider entry-level candidates who possess a strong mechanical background and are able to quickly attain necessary certifications.
- At least 2 years of Motorcycle/Powersport Technician experience preferred.
- Completion of a factory-authorized training program, such as MMI Service School or equivalent work experience.
- Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products. All Service Technicians are required to own a set of tools within the agreed timeframe. A list of required tools will be provided.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
Physical Demands
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to keep balance and push large motorcycles.
- Requires the use of both hands.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 75 lb. of material.
- Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move motorcycles and other objects.
