POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is integral to the development and success of Canine to Five. This role leads our recruiting process to ensure we are hiring top level talent to join our team. This position will source, screen, phone interview candidates. Furthermore, this position will develop and maintain the recruiting process and tools for the company.
- Pay: $20 - $23/hr.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
- Location: This is a virtual role based out of the metro Detroit area. The person in this role will travel to our locations in Commerce, Ferndale and Detroit, as well as attend local job fairs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full recruitment cycle for Client Service Representatives, Pack Leaders, Dog Care Attendants, Facility Leadership and other positions.
- Drive candidate sourcing efforts on various platforms and databases to help maintain a diverse talented workforce and robust pipeline. Sourcing methods may include social media, job fairs, community organizations and other methods.
- Develop and update job descriptions and postings.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
- Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure our processes are most efficient and effective.
- Manage calendar for hiring teams, and applicants, and schedule appropriate calls and in person interviews.
- Track recruitment metrics.
- Serve as brand ambassador at various events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
- Assists with organizing high school and college career-related events.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Other tasks to support the human resources team including but not limited to onboarding, employee retention initiatives, training.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or similar concentration) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferred
- Proficiency in social media and Microsoft Office Suites
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
