As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring that each guest enjoys their experience at our café.
Duties
- Serve ice cream, toppings, and other menu items to customers with a smile.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area and dining space.
- Handle food safely and adhere to food handling guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are stocked and ready for service.
- Process customer transactions accurately using basic math skills for retail math applications.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items.
- Buss tables to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing sales.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
