Responsibilities
- Scoop and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings accurately and efficiently to meet customer preferences.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving accurate change.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance sales.
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, ensuring proper storage, serving procedures, and sanitation practices are followed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, such as preparing toppings or assisting in the kitchen area during busy times.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong customer interaction skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours.
- Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate change processing.
- Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction.
