ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Social Media Manager based in USA. The Social Media Manager will lead CANE'D’s digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, overseeing content creation, campaign execution, and influencer collaborations. The role includes developing and executing content strategies aligned with product launches and retail expansion, managing creator partnerships, and optimizing brand visibility across platforms. Additional responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, engaging with the community, and supporting retail activations through on-ground content capture. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to drive brand growth and engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and retail expansion
- Create and publish high-performing short-form content (Reels, TikTok) optimized for engagement and conversions
- Develop content concepts, hooks, and storytelling angles tailored to platform trends and audience behavior
- Manage influencer and creator partnerships end-to-end, including outreach, briefs, and deliverables
- Identify and leverage trends, UGC, and creator content to drive organic growth and brand visibility
- Track and analyze performance metrics, translating insights into actionable improvements
- Optimize content and campaigns to support both brand awareness and revenue goals
- Engage with the community through comments, DMs, and UGC to build brand affinity
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and growth teams to align social with broader initiatives
- Capture and create real-time content during retail launches, events, and brand activations (as needed)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 2 years in social media management (CPG, food, or beverage preferred)
- Strong experience with short-form video content
- Proven influencer/creator collaboration experience
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting
- Experience using ClickUp or similar tools for workflow and project management
- Familiarity with native platform analytics (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics)
- Experience with social scheduling and publishing tools such as Later or Meta Business Suite
- Basic content creation and editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva
Preferred:
- Experience in cultural or community-driven marketing
- Background in heritage-based or culturally rooted brands
- Familiarity with Asian retail channels and diaspora consumer behavior
