Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Toast POS or Heartland POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events like banquets or catering functions.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or high-energy settings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for quick and accurate transactions.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales tracking.
- Experience with serving at catering events or in the food industry is highly desirable.
