Job Title: Candy Cloud Shift Lead

Job Purpose: As a Candy Cloud Shift Lead, you will be the operational leader on the floor, ensuring store standards are met while being the go-to person for both crew members and customers. You are expected to take initiative, lead by example, and maintain a high level of efficiency during peak periods. This leadership role involves overseeing the execution of Candy Cloud’s service standards, product quality, and team coordination. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager (AM) or Store Manager (SM) to ensure the store is stocked, organized, and ready for a smooth shift. Communication and leadership are key, as you will be responsible for fostering an uplifting experience for both guests and employees, all while developing your own leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Role Modeling:
• Take initiative and set a positive example for team members.
• Confidently lead, deploy, and guide crew members during shifts, especially in high-traffic times.
• Be a resource for crew members and customers, providing assistance and answering questions.
• Operational Excellence:
• Ensure all store operating policies and standards are met, including product quality, cash handling, and store safety/security.
• Confidently manage all back-of-house prep work, ensuring products are labeled with the correct expiration dates.
• Complete temperature logs and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Be proficient with all store equipment, including the sealing machine, ice cream machine, milkshake mixer, and juicing machine.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Communicate effectively with both crew members and management to relay needs and expectations.
• Plan team placement and deployment during rushes and adjust as necessary to maintain operational flow.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions, preparing the store for handoff before clocking out.
• Task Management:
• Complete detail cleaning tasks during downtime to maintain store cleanliness.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the AM or SM, ensuring they are done promptly and accurately.
• Maintain readiness for upcoming shifts by ensuring products are stocked and prepared for use.

• Excellent communication abilities, both with the team and customers.
• Confidence in managing the store’s machinery and executing product preparation.
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments with grace under pressure.
• Attention to detail, particularly in food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Weekend availability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
