Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills, including electrical work, mechanical knowledge, and the use of programmable logic controllers. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components, utilizing schematics for accurate diagnostics.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate parts for machinery.
- Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to timelines.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Skills
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automation processes.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics effectively.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and applications.
- Experience in supervising teams and leading maintenance projects.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to operate an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes.
