Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, providing essential custodial services that contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of guests or residents. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. WEEKENDS ARE MANDATORY
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist with special cleaning projects including industrial or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on sanitation and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Good physical stamina for repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping management is a plus
