Duties
- Supervise front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest services, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures to guarantee guest safety and operational continuity during unexpected situations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly.
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests and clients via phone and in person, fostering positive relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with familiarity in hotel management systems like OPERA or comparable PMS platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and night audit responsibilities is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and client interaction.
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments is desirable.
- Ability to lead a team with energy, motivation, and a focus on delivering exceptional guest relations.
