Position Overview
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service for our guests. This role plays a key part in ensuring that each guest experiences a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming environment throughout their stay at Candlewood Suites Perry – National Fairgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with brand and company standards.
- Change and replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all areas of the guest room, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and kitchen items.
- Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost and found articles to management.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure assigned service areas and carts are kept clean, organized, and stocked.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests, responding promptly to their requests.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
