We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our brand new Candlewood Suites by IHG opening team.
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to IHG brand standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Housekeepers are key to guest satisfaction and hotel success.
Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish amenities, linens, and towels in guest rooms
- Remove trash and used linens; restock housekeeping carts
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, and public spaces as assigned
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently and accurately within time standards
- Provide friendly, respectful service to guests when encountered
- Follow all IHG brand standards for room presentation and cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand, bend, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
