NodeJS Developer

We are looking for a performance-driven full-stack Node.js developer who can help us bring Tradeweb to the next level of functionality, scalability, and user experience. Tradeweb is actively developing a new event-driven microservices architecture to form a foundational platform for delivering new trading applications.

You will work with some of the best and brightest minds in technology and finance, designing, implementing and optimizing our trading platform to deliver new products and drive revenue.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.  There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering software end-to-end, from liaising with product managers and designers, to coordinating across international development teams on engineering and architecture to working with our QA and dev ops teams -- all ultimately to deliver a quality, innovative product to the traders and investors who depend on our platform every day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a field covering Computer Science fundamentals
• 2-4 years of professional web application development experience
• Proficiency in backend technologies; Node.js and TypeScript knowledge is a plus
• Broad knowledge of web platform and technologies
• Superior analytical and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication skills to work with different teams across an international company
• Automated unit testing and test-driven development
• Robust understanding of performance issues, computational complexity, and code optimization.
• Familiarity with implementation of industry-standard algorithms and design patterns
• Proactive team player who can deliver in a high-pressure demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agentic AI tooling
• Experience with modern distributed systems and infrastructure technologies like Kafka, Elastic, Redis, Kubernetes, and MongoDB
• Prior experience with infrastructure-as-code

• The current pay range for this role is currently $130,000 to $160,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
• This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb’s discretionary bonus program. 
• This role is expected to remain open until 4/27/26.

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
