We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce high-quality components while meeting safety and production standards.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Set up, operate, and make basic programming adjustments to CNC machines.
- Perform precision measurements and inspections using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Load, unload, and handle materials using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor machine adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, laser cutters, plasma cutters, press brakes, or similar equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic CNC programming and machine setup knowledge.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Prior experience in the same fields will be considered an asset
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
