What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lacrosse Assistant Coach position at CANBY SD 86?
Canby High School is hiring a Assistant Lacrosse Coach to begin March 2.
This is a non-district funded (contingent upon fundraised dollars) position.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures — current First Aid/CPR card required.
- Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.
- Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.
- Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic Lacrosse, coaching techniques, and student supervision.
Required Trainings:
- OSAA and district trainings required prior to starting work: Fundamentals of Coaching, Steroid Awareness, Heat Acclimatization, Concussion Training, and assigned Vector Training courses
Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $70 payroll deduction).
