Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Retail Store Manager is to oversee personnel and the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and efficiently.

The manager is responsible for merchandising, presentation, and cleanliness of the store. 

The manager is responsible for training the retail sales team.

Ensures each customer receives outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.

Initiates, monitors, and maintains company standards for merchandising, housekeeping, stock inventory, and customer service.

Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales.

Maintains an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertising.

Responsible for monitoring trends and makes recommendations for maximizing goals and objectives

Responsible for implementing floor moves, merchandising and display maintenance

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring all price controls and ad merchandise setup in designated department

Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.

Ensures the processing and replenishing of merchandise on the selling floor by participating in receiving and monitoring merchandise flow in the store.

Performs any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.


Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic.

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating and mentoring sales staff.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent and knowledgeable service.

• Propose innovative ideas to drive overall success.

• Keep up to date with retail trends.

• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs.
