We are looking for an outgoing, revenue-driven Sales Associate to be the friendly face of The UPS Store in Bethany. Your core role is to serve as a consultative sales professional—building customer rapport, actively upselling premium shipping, print, and mailbox solutions, and executing smooth daily store operations.

In this expanded capacity, you will work directly with local business clients on custom print artwork and help manage our local online marketing presence while growing overall retail sales.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive Retail Sales & Upselling: Welcome every customer, identify their full business or personal needs, and actively recommend add-on products, upgraded shipping services, and print packages.
- Manage Shipping & Mail Operations: Process outgoing packages accurately, generate carrier labels, manage incoming client mailboxes, and handle day-to-day package receiving.
- Operate Print & Retail Equipment: Produce high-quality print jobs using digital copiers, large-format printers, binding machinery, and POS systems (full hands-on training provided).
- Provide Public Notary Services: Assist clients with official document notarization (100% of Oregon licensing, training, and stamp expenses are reimbursed).
- Maintain Merchandising & Store Presentation: Keep retail display shelves stocked, clean, visually organized, and inviting.
- Lead Creative Projects (Bonus Role): Design, edit, and pre-flight customer files (business cards, banners, flyers, posters) and create engaging content for local social media channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Sales & Service Experience: 1 years in retail sales, consultative selling, customer service, or commercial print production preferred.
- Education: High school diploma required; a degree, coursework, or certification in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Software & Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or social media management tools is highly desirable.
- Interpersonal Attributes: Upbeat, personable demeanor with strong communication skills, an active smile, and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Physical Capability: Comfort standing during shifts and assisting with standard retail package intake.
