Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This part-time position plays an important role in ensuring our employees and visitors have a clean, sanitary, and welcoming work environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Dust and disinfect break areas, appliances, furniture, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the building and surrounding grounds
  
  

Inventory & Organization

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies
• Order additional cleaning products and supplies as needed
• Keep custodial equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Identify and report unsafe conditions to management
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Wear required PPE while working on the manufacturing floor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  
  

Team Support

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Assist with additional duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications Required Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and proper cleaning techniques
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of custodial, janitorial, or related cleaning experience preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Push cleaning carts and equipment
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working on the manufacturing floor
