This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in recruiting, human resources, or people operations. You’ll be involved throughout the employee lifecycle, from coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates to preparing new hires for their first day. If you’re someone who takes initiative, enjoys helping others, and can keep multiple priorities moving at once, this could be a great opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruiting process from interview scheduling through onboarding, helping ensure candidates have a positive and organized experience at every stage.
- Prepare new-hire paperwork, assist with equipment and system setup, and help create a welcoming, seamless first-day experience for new employees.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records, track recruiting activity, and assist with HR data entry while handling information professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate interviews and calendars, communicate with candidates, and keep hiring managers informed throughout the recruiting process.
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand hiring priorities, coordinate next steps, and keep communication moving smoothly.
- Use Canva to create flyers, internal communications, recruiting materials, event materials, and other content that helps keep employees and candidates informed and engaged.
- Help identify opportunities to improve recruiting and HR processes, streamline workflows, and improve the overall candidate and employee experience.
- Provide general HR and administrative support and cross-train with other members of the HR team to provide coverage and help where needed.
- Take on special projects and other opportunities to support the growth of the organization and the HR team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 months to 1 year of experience in an administrative, recruiting, HR, customer service, or related support role. Internship experience counts!
- Comfortable with data entry and standard office tools; Canva experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is equally important.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong follow-through and a proactive, “no task is too small” attitude.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable communication style with the ability to work comfortably with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and leadership.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and dependable member of the team.
- Genuine interest in helping people and creating positive experiences throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
