We are a locally owned, privately operated, small animal general practice seeking a full-time Certified or Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/Room Technician) to join our dedicated team in Fort Collins, CO.

About Our Practice
We are a busy, privately owned three-doctor practice committed to providing personalized, high-quality veterinary care. Our clinic maintains a full appointment schedule and performs surgeries three days each week. We value teamwork, communication, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture where every team member contributes to exceptional patient care.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends or overnights
Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and technical support, including:
- Obtain complete patient histories and perform patient assessments
- Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
- Place and maintain intravenous (IV) catheters
- Perform laboratory diagnostics, including fecal examinations and urinalysis
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs
- Prepare patients for surgery and safely induce, intubate, and monitor anesthesia
- Confidently monitor anesthesia for approximately two surgical patients per surgery day
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Support patient comfort, safety, and recovery throughout hospitalization
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Process prescription refill requests and client callbacks
- Educate clients and communicate treatment plans alongside the veterinary team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Certified or Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT), or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience preferred but not required
- Strong anesthesia monitoring skills and confidence managing surgical patients
- Proficiency with the above responsibilities
