Schedule & Work Environment
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position. Our schedule is based on the needs of our clients and patients, so work hours vary from day to day. Some days may start early, run later than expected, or include longer farm-call routes, while other days may be shorter. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role. While the daily schedule varies, we do not typically work weekends and do not offer overnight or after-hours emergency services, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
This position involves regular travel to client farms, working outdoors year-round, and assisting with animals in a variety of environments and weather conditions. If you enjoy variety, being on the road, and the fact that no two days are the same, you'll fit right in. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys a flexible schedule and understands that animal care doesn't always happen during regular business hours.
