Campos Fabrication is seeking a Piping Design Engineer to support fabrication projects from estimate through execution. This role works closely with the Engineering Manager, Shop Foreman, and Quality team to ensure designs are fabrication‑ready and compliant with all applicable codes and customer requirements.

- Develop weld counts, piping takeoffs, and material estimates.
- Prepare bid packages and obtain vendor pricing for materials and services.
- Create pipe drawings and weld maps with full heat number traceability.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for drawing review and code compliance.
- Collaborate with electrical, structural, and process engineering teams.
- Design and supervise hydrostatic testing; maintain gauge calibration.
- Maintain all required ASME and project documentation.
- Prepare purchase orders and support fabrication change management.
- Support field startup and commissioning as needed.
- Review schedules and recommend actions to maintain cost and timeline targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3 years of engineering experience.
- Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, NFPA, CSA codes preferred (B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192/195).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project support.
