Who you are: An experienced plumber/pipefitter/general maintenance worker with a valid plumbing license. You have knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the plumbing trade; operation of building systems, applicable state, federal, health and safety code requirements; methods and practice of tools, machinery and equipment. You possess great interpersonal skills and are a team player. You have experience with installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, steam and sewage systems, completing general labor projects, general carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and outdoor groundwork, maintenance and good repair of existing equipment and systems in order to maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Direct repairs such as electrical and/or plumbing will be assigned according to specific expertise.
What you'll do: You will maintain, troubleshoot and test plumbing systems, assemble, install, and repair pumps, pipes, fittings, and fixtures, cut and thread pipes, assemble and install valves, pipe fitting and pipes, inspect related work performance by contractors, maintain, repair, and install plumbing and related fixtures and components, perform routine maintenance tasks inside and outside of the building as assigned, repair piping of various sizes and types, inspect, repair or replace pumps, valves, and boiler systems, service and maintain all plumbing and heating equipment, respond to routine and emergency calls for repair and service, read and comprehend plans and blueprints, and all other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm, with on-call rotation.
Pay & Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, percentage match up on your contribution to the 403(b)-retirement plan, generous time off policy, tuition reimbursement of up to $5000 per year.
Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
