Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Reservationist to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a positive experience for all guests at our campground. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various customer inquiries efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival and throughout their stay, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Address guest inquiries regarding campground amenities, and local attractions with professionalism and courtesy.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to guests.
- Maintain front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and managing reservations.
- Perform retail operations in the gift shop, including the use of a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift, ensuring accurate and accountable financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and reservation software is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest services are essential.
