Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Writer / Warranty Clerk to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our service department running smoothly by ensuring accurate documentation, timely warranty submissions, and strong communication between customers, technicians, and manufacturers.
No prior warranty experience? No problem we are willing to train the right person who brings the right attitude, organization, and work ethic.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and assist in writing up service tickets and repair orders
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers regarding service updates
- Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain organized records of service work, claims, and approvals
- Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve any discrepancies
