We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our condominium management team. This position is responsible for maintaining the community's buildings, common areas, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and preventive maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the condominium property.
- Complete work orders promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing issues, including faucets, toilets, valves, drains, and irrigation components.
- Perform basic electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, breakers, and ballasts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and replace filters as scheduled.
- Repair and patch drywall, perform interior and exterior painting, and complete minor carpentry repairs.
- Maintain mechanical rooms, equipment rooms, storage areas, and maintenance shops.
- Inspect common areas daily for maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist with pool area, clubhouse, fitness center, elevators, parking garage, and other common amenities.
- Perform pressure washing of sidewalks, building entrances, pool decks, and other common areas as needed.
- Replace light bulbs and maintain exterior and interior lighting.
- Assist with vendor access and monitor contractor work when requested.
- Set up and break down meeting rooms and community events.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations during or after normal business hours when required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Assist with hurricane preparedness, storm recovery, and emergency response procedures.
Full-Time Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: $22
