Housekeeping Aide – Long Term Care Facility
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team at our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors while demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
- Replenish supplies as needed.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and spills.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance concerns.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
