JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the creation, implementation, and analysis of data and information systems required for patient care initiatives. Works with healthcare providers to identify useful clinical data and establish methods of collecting and storing it. Performs analyses to create insights and identify patterns and areas of improvement. Communicates with providers and management to learn CCH’s processes and priorities and to provide takeaways in the most accessible and convenient way possible. Collaborates closely with Finance, Quality, and Clinical departments to identify key performance metrics, validate data accuracy, and ensure consistency across reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making and performance improvement efforts.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain data and reporting tools to support evidence-based decision-making, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify improvement opportunities using actionable data insights.
- Implement and maintain data governance and stewardship processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
- Support the integration, optimization, and analysis of information systems such as Epic, and Infor CloudSuite.
- Translate clinical and operational workflows into technical requirements that improve usability and automation.
- Design and deliver dashboards and visual analytics for performance, quality, and compliance metrics.
- Collaborate with IT and leadership to prioritize data initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Train and support end users in data interpretation, reporting tools, and workflow optimization.
- Stay current with emerging informatics tools, data governance frameworks, and healthcare analytics best practices.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism across departments.
- Adhere to hospital compliance standards, including the Code of Conduct and regulatory laws.

Job Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s preferred.
- Certifications
- Infor CloudSuite training required within six (6) months of hire.
- Cogito Fundamentals, Cabbodle Data Model Fundamentals and Clarity Data Model Fundamentals certification completion within three (3) months of hire.
- Epic proficiency or certification preferred (or must be obtained within an approved timeframe).
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, informatics, or data analytics.
- Proficiency with Epic or Infor CloudSuite applications preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare data standards, and reporting methodologies.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar).
- Excellent collaboration, analytical, and communication skills.
