Job Title: Aftercare Campus Monitor

Job Summary:
The Campus Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for students and staff during program hours. This role involves monitoring campus activity, enforcing program rules, and supporting emergency and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive on-site 15 minutes prior to the start of the program and remain until the last student has left.
- Conduct a safety checklist before the start of each program session.
- Routinely patrol campus according to the provided schedule to ensure safety and compliance.
- Monitor entrances and check for valid student IDs, staff IDs, and visitor passes.
- Identify and report any suspicious behavior, unauthorized individuals, or safety concerns.
- Document and report incidents involving disruptive behavior or violations of program policies.
- Assist in managing student traffic during transitions, snack time, and dismissal.
- Support emergency response efforts and follow established safety protocols.
- Report facility maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns to appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Over 18 years old
- Experience working with youth or in a school environment preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Must pass a background check and complete all required training courses.
