What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Ramah Nurses position at Camp Ramah in California?
We are looking for Nurses to enjoy the summer in the beautiful mountains of Ojai, California. Camp Ramah is a Jewish overnight camp that begins on June 10th and runs through August 10th. We have amazing campers and staff that keep us very busy. We are now beginning to staff our clinic with amazing RN's to help keep our community healthy throughout the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care with our campers / staff, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor and record campers / staff vital signs and medical history
- Assist with camper / staff examinations and assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of [California]
- Provide your own transportation to and from Camp Ramah in Ojai, CA
- Proven experience as a Nurse, preferably in a medical office or hospital setting and pediatrics
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing various medical procedures
- Experience administering medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards our campers and staff members
