Responsibilities:
- Provide direct camper care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess campers conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, and physical examinations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of {California}
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as CampMinder
- Ability to provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
