Camp Grace Bentley — Michigan's oldest summer camp for individuals with special needs — is a proud nonprofit organization dedicated to providing enriching, inclusive, and life-changing camp experiences. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team for the upcoming summer season.
About Us
For nearly a century, Camp Grace Bentley has been more than just a camp — it is a caring community where campers grow in confidence, independence, and friendship in a warm and supportive environment. Located along the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, our eight-week summer program (June 16–August 16) offers a wide variety of adaptive recreational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of our campers. Staff receive Friday 3:00 PM–Sunday 1:00 PM off each week for rest and renewal.

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated RNs or EMTs to provide compassionate medical care and health support to our campers. The ideal candidate brings clinical expertise, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily medical care and health monitoring for campers with a variety of needs and conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Respond promptly to medical concerns or emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential health documentation
- Collaborate with families, staff, and leadership to ensure camper safety and well-being
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing camp environment
Qualifications
- Current RN license or EMT certification (state requirements apply)
- Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Calm, compassionate, and dependable in dynamic situations
Compensation & Benefits
