Lead After-School Staff – Sam Adams Elementary
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 6:15 PM
- Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- 21 years or older
- Experience working with children in a group setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Willingness to obtain CPR & First Aid certification (we cover the training!)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage daily program operations
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily after-school program operations and ensure a safe, positive environment
- Supervise children and support staff; delegate tasks as needed
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, enrichment, homework time)
- Take accurate attendance and maintain required documentation
- Implement behavior management strategies and calmly address conflicts
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and Camp Fire leadership
- Follow all safety, licensing, and emergency procedures
- Model positive behavior and create a welcoming, inclusive program culture
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per year
