What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Woodworking specialist (Seasonal/part-time) position at Camp Embark?
Become a woodwork teacher and share your fascinating skill with campers ages 5-14. A Monday-Friday schedule is required. Availability to work from June 3rd to August 8th, with the week of May 26 dedicated to move-in and training.

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
Experience: Woodworking: 1 year (Required)).
Work authorization: United States (Preferred).
Camp Counselor/Coach Role
Ideally, the right candidate would be an experienced woodworker and a talented counselor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach introductory level woodworking skills to campers 7-14 years old during class periods
- Build signs, props, or any structures that are needed for special camp events
- Act as a counselor to children ages 7-14 years old
- Enhance the skill level of every camper while promoting a fun and exciting program. You will do this during activities, electives, and instruction.
- You will be charged with helping campers make friends, navigate conflict, provide guidance and leadership, and act as role model.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must hold a current CPR/AED certificate and provide a copy of the certificate.
· All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and Level 2 background screening (which includes a fingerprint check) prior to their hire date.
