The Camp Operations Coordinator ensures Camp Embark runs safely, on time, and exactly as designed every day.
This role exists to protect execution. You are the person who notices drift early, corrects it calmly, and keeps systems intact under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Open the site each morning and prepare the day for staff and campers
- Manage attendance, safety checks, and morning care flow
- Support counselors and guide campers through transitions
- Supervise restroom breaks, hydration cycles, and sunscreen times
- Communicate with parents throughout the day
- Handle camper behavior and ensure a positive, safe environment
- Assist with lunch flow and supervise lunch transitions
- Monitor schedule timing and adjust as needed to keep rotations on track
- Support cleanup and end of day reset
- Lead dismissal and ensure safe release of all campers
- Coordinate with the Operations Aide and Food Specialist for daily needs
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Nine hours per day
- Full season availability required
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working with children or in youth programs
- Ability to manage fast paced operations
- Confident decision making and problem solving skills
- Reliable attendance and professional conduct
- Ability to supervise staff and groups of children
- Level 2 background check required
