What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Facility Care Specialist position at Camp Canine?
Camp Canine in Taylor, MI is looking dog handler/cleaner to join our 18 person strong team. Never had a job? We are happy to train as this is an entry level position. We are looking for college students and people looking for permenant work, not just a quick job. We are located on 16677 Racho Road in Taylor.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, mature and reliable, can handle large dogs over 100 pounds. You will spend most of the shift in a play area with 10-20 dogs, cleaning, correcting bad behavior, watching for injuries, illnesses, stress, communicating with other employees, being on point, paying attention to their needs. You must be able to multi task. If you love dogs, this is a great job. You will meet and love 20-30 dogs per day, all breeds, all sizes.
We also clean and sanitize our facility daily. You will be reponsible for properly cleaning, vacuuming, using a floor cleaning machine, lanudry, stocking items, spraying down the outside area, measuring proper amounts of sanitizer and more.
Please only apply if serious about caring for live animals. Must be able to stay off your phone for 2-3 hours at a time, NO PHONES WHILE WORKING. breaks allowed for this.
Will train the right person.
Need someone 3-5 days per week, full or part time. Will work around college days or other part time job, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM or 1:45 to 8:30 pm shifts needed. Must be able to work BOTH shift times on various day including most weekends and holidays.
