FP&A Manager
Location: US (Remote / Hybrid)
Compensation: $150K–$160K base 10–15% bonus
Overview
We are partnering with a global cybersecurity software platform is building out its standalone FP&A function following a carve-out from a larger parent company. Backed by private equity, the business is establishing the infrastructure to operate as an independent ~$300M software company. The FP&A analyst will own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across revenue, retention, expansion, and churn metrics. The ideal candidate will translate complex SaaS KPIs into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and optimize resource allocation.
This is a highly visible role, responsible for shaping the corporate planning function and supporting revenue growth across enterprise and mid-market segments globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales Operations to prepare monthly business outlooks and forecasts.
- Track deal progression and work with Sales, Pricing, Legal, and Product teams to support deal closure.
- Assist in the annual planning and budgeting process, establishing revenue and expense targets.
- Review and approve special pricing, payment terms, and other commercial exceptions in line with company policy.
- Support monthly forecast cycles and quarterly close processes.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance.
- Analyze business performance drivers and support evaluation of strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Ideal Background
- FP&A experience in a private equity-backed environment (software or tech-enabled businesses preferred).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- Experience building models, planning frameworks, or reporting processes from scratch.
- Exposure to Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A tools is a plus
Qualifications
- MBA or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical discipline.
- 3–5 years of FP&A experience in a SaaS or software environment.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SaaS metrics including NRR, GRR, LTV, CAC payback, and churn.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
