The Community Specialist is responsible for tasks including but not limited to conducting inspections, issuing violations, scheduling common area maintenance, and corresponding with residents and trades for optimal visual appeal of multiple communities. Must have reliable transportation and able to travel around Houston and surrounding suburbs daily.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Enforce community rules and restrictions. Produce violation letters based on property inspections. Maintain violation logs, both active and resolved. Issue fines for violations that have not been resolved.
- Conduct Pre-Move in inspections (PMI) to ensure a seamless resident transition.
- Oversee and approve payment of vendors providing service to assigned communities.
- Schedule and monitor repairs with vendors.
- Perform day to day administration tasks as directed.
- Facilitate property appraisals for bank loans. Ability to build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the company.
- Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience with QuickBase a plus
- Minimum of (2) two years experience with Homeowners Associations
- Associates degree preferred.
- Prolonged periods of driving in a vehicle
- Must be able to manage time independently while working from home
- Light duty housekeeping responsibilities may be required during PMI’s
