SUMMARY: Quality Control Inspector ensures that all materials are inspected and received into ERP system prior to being available to warehousing. Any non-conforming issues are addressed to appropriate management. Quality Control Inspector maintains authority to accept or reject products as necessary, and ensure causes are identified, and that follow-up activities occur with responsible vendors to minimize impact, and prevent recurrence. Quality Control Inspector participate in continuous improvement activities to drive improvements in quality effectiveness. It is the responsibility of Quality Control Inspector to promote a quality mindset throughout the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assure Receiving Inspections and Paperwork are performed in a timely manner
- Assist with the Camfil Calibration program.
- Control open Return Goods Authorization (RGA).
- Receive, review and file Vendor Certificates of Compliance / Certificates of Analysis.
- Assure programs, procedures and documentation are carried out correctly.
- Generate non-conformance reports for manufactured and purchased materials.
- Update CSR quality program as required.
- Maintain upkeep of material preservation program.
- Control and monitor Quality hold products.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Shop orders, product specifications, engineering drawings and contract reviews.
- Availability for daily/weekly overtime.
- Crosstrain in other positions within the facility based on business needs.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BA / BS from accredited school preferred, Minimum High School Diploma
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5-10 years in quality and/or regulatory field.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of ISO-9001.
- Basic skills in mathematics and statistics.
- Trained in auditing techniques (will train if necessary).
- Must be familiar with measuring tools such as:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Tape Measures
- Taper Gauge
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
