What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Camfil USA Inc.?
SUMMARY
Fabricates sheet metal components that are required in the production of equipment that is utilized in the air filtration industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops layout and plans sequence of operations.
Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece.
Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters and drill presses.
Hammers, chips and grinds work piece to cut, bend and straighten metal.
QUALITY: Performs prescribed quality procedures in accordance with plant quality system requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma (minimum) Trade School preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills. Computer skills and telephone etiquette are essential.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Technical math required.
REASONING ABILITY: Must have strong reasoning ability.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Should be capable of lifting fifty pounds and be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to freely bend and stoop. Must possess good hand/eye coordination, along with good visual acuity. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
