Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Will Train in CT
Cameron Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This is a dual-modality role, with responsibilities in both X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT). Position Summary:
Operates radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams as directed by physicians. This role includes performing routine radiographic (X-ray) procedures and working in CT, with training provided for candidates who are not yet CT-certified.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both X-ray and CT imaging procedures following established protocols
- Rotate between X-ray and CT as needed to support department operations
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and instruction
- Administer contrast media as ordered
- Select proper imaging techniques and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain patient safety, including proper radiation protection and shielding
- Accurately document and label exams
- Obtain patient history and prepare studies for radiologist review
- Assist with portable imaging in surgery, emergency, and patient rooms
- Follow all department policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of work area
- Participate in ongoing education and CT training opportunities
Qualifications:
- ARRT registered (or eligible)
- Current state licensure (if applicable)
- CT experience preferred OR willingness to train in CT required
- Ability to perform or learn both X-ray and CT responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
