JOB TITLE: Coordinator
SHIFT: PRN, Part-time (as needed)
JOB SUMMARY
The Wellness Coordinator will motivate our staff and community to live a healthy lifestyle by providing tools and education on how to maintain and lead a well-rounded healthy lifestyle and work with marketing for community related communications
- Find trends with internal wellness data and implement a wellness strategy and program to strive to improve employee screening scores year over year.
- Create an annual wellness calendar and present it to Director and Ex Director each November to be implemented in January of the new year.
- Provide monthly wellness education to be included in the internal Week in Review from a reliable resource.
- Develop and act as a liaison with a community-led volunteer board.
- Assist with Health Risk Assessment aggregate data review and annual internal wellness screenings.
- Own community wellness programs such as Safe Sitter Classes and the Community Wellness Garden.
- Assist with the Community Health Needs Assessment data collection and review of data.
- Develop outreach activities, programs, events, lunches, dinners, etc. in collaboration with community relations and business development.

Experience
- Coordinating community outreach events
- Developing well-being programming to help reduce health risk and encourage healthy lifestyles
- Experience helping lead initiatives on a wellness committee, board or through a wellness initiative.
- Working with varied and diverse community organizations in a community health or population health capacity.
- Two years’ experience working with clients on motivational change, behavior modification, group/personal training, or related credential from a nationally recognized organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Public or Community Health or related field.
Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Public or Community Health or related field.
