JOB TITLE: Coordinator
SHIFT: PRN, Part-time (as needed)
Summary/Objective
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of wellness programs for Cameron Health employees and additional assigned employer accounts. This role blends client relationship management, event planning, health coaching, and program execution to drive measurable health outcomes. Through proactive communication, tailored engagement strategies, and seamless service delivery, the specialist strengthens client relationships and ensures alignment of wellness initiatives with organizational priorities.
Essential Functions:
Client Account Support (Assigned Accounts)
- Act as primary or secondary contact for select employer accounts as assigned by the manager.
- Fosters strong client relationships through consistent communication and service delivery aligned with organizational wellness goals.
- Assist in coordinating screening logistics, registration, and day-of support.
- Collaborate with the manager on basic reporting (biometric data, coaching metrics, engagement summaries).
- Facilitate employer wellness council meetings, support planning, and follow-up. (Ensuring employer feedback informs ongoing program planning and enhancements.)
- Hold high standard of care for employer satisfaction through ongoing communication and delivery of program elements.
Participant Engagement & Wellness Delivery
- Deliver one-on-one health coaching consultations following screenings, offering guidance based on biometric results and individual goals.
- Design and implement customized wellness engagement strategies such as health challenges, lunch-and-learns, and group fitness sessions to drive participation and outcomes.
- Develop and distribute tailored educational materials that reflect client culture, goals, and employee needs.
- Track and report on participant engagement and outcomes (e.g., attendance, follow-ups, coaching success).
Operational & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the manager and wellness team members to support department goals.
- Respond to participant inquiries and concerns, escalating issues as needed and ensuring a high standard of service
- Assist the manager with contract deliverables, client reporting, and strategic program updates, including preparing engagement summaries and outcomes dashboards.
- Analyze participant engagement data, coaching outcomes, and biometric metrics to evaluate impact and identify opportunities for program improvement.
- Collaborate with internal wellness team members to support departmental goals, cross-functional initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Experience
- Experience in health coaching with a focus on motivational interviewing, behavior change, and chronic disease prevention.
- Experience delivering wellness programs and coordinating on-site health screening events.
- Proven ability to engage diverse populations and drive participation in health-related programs.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with both clients and participants.
- Experience interpreting biometric screening results and providing evidence-based recommendations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Exercise Science, Physiology, Nutrition, Psychology, Nursing, or related field.
Certifications
- CPR/AED certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already current).
- Prefer nationally recognized health coaching certification (e.g., NBC-HWC, ACE Health Coach, Wellcoaches, CHES).
- Preferred wellness-related certifications or training in: fitness (e.g., ACE, AFAA, ACSM), nutrition, Tobacco Cessation Training, Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), Lifestyle Coach Certification, etc.
