Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Third Shift Caregiver to work from 10 PM to 6 AM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to mentally handicapped adults in a safe and nurturing environment. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring health conditions.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Ensuring a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience working with mentally handicapped individuals preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
