POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director will provide direct and continuous supervision of staff under the direction of the Program Director & Clinical and Programs Director, and be responsible for residents.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the operation and discussion of issues that have direct impact at the residential facility.
- Supervise personnel and assist with evaluations, counseling, discipline, and generally insures that all are performing adequately.
- Assist the administration with the establishment of management system in program to insure the effective delivery of service.
- Participate in quality assurance review process and utilization review.
- Responsible for receipt, maintaining and accurate filing of complete client case records.
- Participate in al meetings of the treatment team.
- Oversee the facility functions, security, clerical, cleanliness and ordering of supplies.
- Monitor monthly census for the residential program.
- Liaisons between all referral sources.
- Assist the program director with the establishment of management systems to insure effective delivery of service.
- Assist with recruitment and make recommendations on treatment and staff hiring for program.
- Provide supervision to counselors on a weekly basis with the program director.
- On 24 Hour Emergency call.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
- Must hold a CASAC-Advanced or above, or be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Thorough knowledge of procedures and directives relating to the operation of substance abuse residential program in accordance with the regulation of the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a substance abuse program.
- Professional attitude and attire, dependable, reliable, role model and flexible.
- Strong management skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
