The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Camelback Resort’s cleanliness and presentation standards. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by conducting detailed inspections, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Smile and create a welcoming environment for guests and team members
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to resort standards
- Verify all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure rooms are guest-ready and released in a timely manner
- Communicate inspection results clearly with Room Attendants and leadership
- Support housekeeping team members by providing feedback and guidance to uphold quality standards
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas as needed
- Monitor and uphold sanitation and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest needs
- Report any guest concerns or issues to management promptly
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and operational systems
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of guests
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages a plus
