Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles
- Perform vehicle towing, vehicle recovery towing, and cargo securement protocols following safety standards
- Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing
- Load and unload vehicles carefully using proper techniques to prevent damage, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks
- Manage commercial truck driving responsibilities with adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate timely vehicle recovery services
- Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, incidents, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping purposes
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and car towing procedures
