Qualifications
- Must meet MSHSAA Coaching Requirements 3.1.5.
- Coaching experience at the middle school, high school, or club level preferred.
- Ability to be employed as a middle school teacher or support staff position preferred.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the girls volleyball program.
- Plan and conduct practices and conditioning, to improve fundamental and advanced skills of the players, in an efficient manner.
- Teach strategy, and teamwork in a positive and encouraging environment.
- Direct, mentor, and motivate players during in-season and out-of-season practices and games.
- Collaborate and assist with out-of- season conditioning including the MSHSAA designated preseason practice period, summer contact days, offseason, and weight room oversight.
- Manage the budget, inventory, and purchase of equipment.
- Develop and implement a program that emphasizes player growth, discipline, work ethics and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the physical safety of all student-athletes, including adhering to medical protocols and ensuring required paperwork is completed.
- Train and mentor assistant coaches and volunteer staff.
- Maintain open, professional communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and athletic directors.
- Coordinate with the athletic department regarding scheduling, transportation, and facility use.
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor student-athlete academic performance and ensure eligibility.
- Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the MSHSAA by-laws.
