Responsible for monitoring and maintaining our wastewater treatment system operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor wastewater treatment system operations.
- Read PLC screens, charts, and gauges; note operational problems.
- Inspect pumps, ventilators, and air supplies.
- Gather samples at appropriate sampling points following proper procedures and record information.
- Pump in raw materials to adjust the pH of wastewater tanks.
- Collaborate with the lab on disposals and adjustments.
- Perform preventive maintenance; clean and monitor automatic samplers.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports related to operations.
- Pump in dye or oil wash out as needed.
