Position Summary:
We are expanding our clinical department! This opportunity comes from growth, not turnover. As our Director of Nursing steps into a new leadership role, we are adding another RN to our team. Our current DON will provide hands-on training and mentorship to ensure your success and confidence in your role.
As an RN, you will oversee and coordinate resident care, support and mentor our care team, and ensure high-quality, compliant care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications safely and educate staff on best practices
- Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans (ISPs)
- Monitor residents’ conditions and respond appropriately
- Support, mentor, and educate Clinical Care Assistants and other staff
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and external agencies
- Complete documentation accurately in electronic medical records
- Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and care conferences
- Ensure compliance with DHS 83 regulations and facility policies
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Wisconsin
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and resident-focused
- CBRF certification (or ability to obtain)
